how the organic babe came to be
Hi Babes!
If you are anything like me, then you care about what products you use on your skin, body and hair. And that also includes what you wear! Ethical beauty and fashion exist, there is no doubt about it. It's up to people like us to share and spread some ethical love.
"To keep the body in good health is a duty... otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear." ~Gautama Buddha
Ever since I was a young girl, I was fascinated by the thought of the beauty and fashion industry. I can remember all the times I played dress-up with my older sister and how we would sneak into our mother's room to use her makeup. Never did the thought of "Where did this come from?" or "Who made these products?" cross my mind until I was much older and had the means to find out the answers.
That day still haunts over me. After what felt like endless hours of research and two cups of almond milk lattes, I discovered the truth about the beauty and fashion industry. Corruption, dishonesty and heartache filled my mind and soul. You probably are asking yourself, but how did people get away with this? Here's the truth: no one wanted to educate them self, no one wanted to stand up and say this is enough, and no one wanted to ask questions. The industry was perfectly fine leading us blindly to our toxic graves.
Fortunately, times are changing, and I am glad to be part of it. People are finally realizing that cruelty free, organic, and ethics (whether it be for workers or products) have a place in the market! I choose to live a natural, healthy lifestyle and I want others to feel like they can too!
SO babes, let's do this together. Let's #standstrong and live #organic !
